Welcome to the Davis Joint Unified School District. We serve over 8,300 students in grades TK-12, at 16 campuses.

Note: During a current school year, please do NOT submit any enrollment documents more than one month prior to the requested start date as we cannot process or "hold" spots for students.

Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is currently OPENfor students not currently or yet enrolled in DJUSD

Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year will open on Monday January 27, 2025.   More information and details will be available on the district website in December.

Enrollment for New Students (Davis Residents ONLY)
Please gather all required registration documents listed in the selected grade level below. If you are interested in a choice program, be sure to include the application for the program (found under Choice Schools) and email the completed enrollment packet to Korlyn Gibson, Enrollment Specialist, at [email protected]. You may also drop off enrollment packets at the District Office, located at 526 B Street. Incomplete packets with missing required documents will NOT be processed. Note: If emailing enrollment documents, emails containing Zip files are blocked by our firewall, please send as PDF or Jpeg files only.

Non-Davis residents require an Inter-district Transfer Agreement OR an approved DaVinci application. Visit our Inter-district Transfer webpage for more information.

How do I know at which school to enroll my student?
Students are registered based on the neighborhood boundary school and space availability according to your Davis home address. Visit our School Locator to find your neighborhood boundary school.

DJUSD is experiencing crowded conditions at some school sites.
It is important that families are aware that there may not be space for new students at their neighborhood school. If a school or grade level enrollment exceeds capacity, we will enroll (overflow) your student to another site. Please note, DJUSD does not provide school buses, however, Unitrans services the City of Davis and is free to use for all DJUSD students.
