Property Tax Exemption Application

If you are a senior citizen (65 or older), a recipient of SSDI or SSI, or a DJUSD employee, you may qualify for a property tax exemption.

To apply, please use the link below.
Deadline to apply: June 15, 2026

After you submit your application, the Business Office will review it. If we need more information, we will contact you directly.

Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an email from Informed K12 letting you know that your application is complete.

You currently do not need to reapply for this exemption once you have been approved.

How to read the 2025-26 Yolo County Property Tax Bill

Review your 2025-26 Yolo County Tax Bill. If you have been granted exemptions for Parcel Taxes Measure N or Measure G,  you will NOT see these on your tax bill. If you have the 50% exemption for CFD No. 1, your bill will reflect the reduced amount of $163.30. (half of the normal $326.61 amount) 

If you currently have exemption status, you do not need to reapply.

**NOTE: There are NO exemptions for the following assessments:  
     Davis JUSD 2000 BD (Bond) 
     Davis JUSD 2018 BD (Bond)
     Davis Jt Un CFD #2  

Low Income Rental Housing Exemption

Owners who can provide evidence that their property constitutes low income rental housing have the option of applying for a low income rental housing tax exemption from the CFD special taxes- Community Facilities District No. 1 (CFD No. 1) and Community Facilities District No. 2 (CFD No. 2.)
