Community Outreach - Anderson Road/CCE Improvements
Posted on 08/13/2025

We invite all César Chávez families, neighbors and community members to join us for an upcoming community outreach event regarding important improvements planned at our school.

DJUSD, in partnership with the City of Davis, is planning updates to improve traffic flow and student safety by relocating the existing drop off/pick up zone from Anderson Road onto the César Chávez Elementary campus.

This project is part of a larger capital improvement effort organized by the City of Davis and builds upon the Anderson Road Visioning Process (ARVP), a long term planning initiative to improve the Anderson Road corridor between Russell Boulevard and Covell Boulevard. The broader goal is to support safer, more accessible and well planned transportation infrastructure for both our school community and the surrounding neighborhoods.
